Update On Stinky Book.... Ship of Dreams

Just want to say thanks to all who gave suggestions as to how to get the "stink" out of a stinky book.

It's been 70 degrees here the past 2 days, so while the sun has been shining, I left the stinker out on my front porch propped open.

When my 10 year-old got home from religion last night, he brought the book in and proclaimed "Mom, your book doesn't stink anymore!  Now you can read it without holding your nose!"

So, a little sunshine and a cool breeze were all it took!  I figured I would try the kitty litter in a ziploc bag if it was still a no-go after sunbathing for 2 days.

I'm excited... it is next on the list... after I finish Not A Girl Detective by Susan Kandel (I'm halfway through, can't put it down, and am loving it! **wink**)  Maybe a review for Sunday Evening Dinner Chat???  We'll see!  Happy Friday & Happy Reading!
